That is an osprey. A white-bellied sea eagle would have a white throat, chest and abdomen area. You are very lucky that the bird did not attack the drone! Amazing footage!! I ❤ Indonesia!!! 🇲🇨 🇲🇨 🇲🇨
It DID attack my drone. It hit the drone and spun it around, that's why it ended up facing the opposite direction. Dive buddy was watching and saw it. I thought the drone glitched so I turned off the recording, pointed it back towards the island and started again. When he yelled at me that the bird hit it, I started moving the drone away and caught it on video returning for round 2
@mitchsn Oh, OK. I could not tell exactly what was going on, I guess. But luckily the bird did not cause it to crash into the ocean. Looks like a very beautiful area!!

I thought Puerto Galera and Anilao were nudibranch capital but the endless variety in Lembeh is unmatched. We saw something new every day 5 days in a row! I didn't want to leave!
I recall climbing to the top, up that narrow back ridge, in the 1970's...no ropes or cables existed there back then, and it was a real challenge! No slips allowed.
